The new in-field functionality for Trimble Survey Controller includes polygon framing that allows users to select exactly the area they want to scan. Users can thereby complete scanning jobs faster. Users can also view captured point clouds over the video stream of their job site, as well as enjoy panoramic image capture. These new capabilities enable users to minimize gaps and overlaps in scan data, reducing redundancy and rework. Spatial Imaging professionals to provide data to clients as a walk-through or fly-through in 3D. In addition, users can export 3D models into Google™ Earth, so data can be viewed as it will actually appear as an object onsite.
