Whether you work as a topographic, cadastral, construction or building, surveyor, the innovative Trimble 3600 Total Station series is designed to optimize your workflow and field productivity.

For operation in high productivity environments, collecting high density detail, or working in DR (Direct Reflex Reflectorless Mode), the QuickDrive, Clamp Free Operation and Endless Slow Motion deliver huge productivity gains over conventional tangent screws. The optional Tracklight provides instant feedback to the Rodman as they position on line during stakeout. And for quick set up, the 3600 series has two plummet options- Laser or Optical built into the alidade, allowing easy checking and facilitating centering over the station. The 3600 series can be operated with its own control unit, the Geodimeter control unit with color coded keys or the TSC1TM controller.

The innovative DR EDM system option is ideal for surveying where the target is difficult, impossible or dangerous to reach and opens up a world of new applications-enabling you to measure to any object within 100m with no need for a prism.

The 3600 series utilizes industry standard infrared (IR) communications in addition to conventional RS232 communications. Using the IR communication port you can transfer files to and from certain cell phones without the need for a cable-ideal when you arrive at the job site without all your data! We call this the eSurveyingTM solution.

The 3600 series is ideal the ideal compliment to the Trimble GPS Total Station® 5700 system, providing a means of filling in detail that cannot be acquired using GPS. The two are seamlessly linked using the TSC1 data collector, enabling you to easily switch between RTK and total station measurement. All the combined data can be processed and analyzed within the Trimble Geomatics OfficeTM software.
