4DOME - Full-dome Projection of Premium Resolution
Large planetarium domes have surface areas of up to 1000 m². Projectors
intended to cover such areas not only have to put out sufficient brightness but
also should supply sufficient image information.

4DOME for excellent images
So far, only the Carl Zeiss ADLIP system based on Jenoptik's Laser Display
Technology has proved that full-dome projection can deliver images of excellent
quality even on large domes. 4DOME is an attractive alternative to the high-end
ADLIP product.
Movie quality with 8 megapixels per projector
4DOME presently offers the highest resolution on a planetarium dome. Each
projector generates up to eight million pixels. With two projectors arranged
opposite each other, the resolution achieved leaves hardly anything to be
desired. Solutions with more channels are possible to satisfy even more exacting
demands.
High brightness and saturated colors
4DOME can be configured in two versions differing by brightness, which
allows the system to excel also in the world's largest planetarium domes. Xenon
light sources offer an extended color space, furnishing brilliant, highly
saturated colors. Contrast is outstanding, too.
