General Description
For use with the M198 Howitzer, 155mm towed.

This mount is installed on the right trunnion of the howitzer to support the M138 elbow telescope and M18 fire control quadrant. Two self-illuminated level vials on this quadrant provide for cross leveling the mount and laying the cannon in elevation. It also includes a vertical surface for measuring weapon elevation with the M1A2 gunner's quadrant, and it supports the M139 alignment device during boresighting.
