Class Descriptions:
Trimble TGO Overview Class
1 day class - $350/person
This is a general course that overviews the functionality of Trimble Geomatic
Office. The course will include lecture and hands on computer work. The course
will focus on TGO v 1.60, but should be beneficial for other versions. Topics
covered, but not limited to: Basic TGO functions, Custom Importing, Exporting &
Reporting, RoadLink & DTMLink. Additionally, discussion will include
projections, calibrations and web resources. If you have questions or concerns
about TGO, this is the class for you!!
Trimble RTK Certified Class:
2 day class - $750/person
This is a formal class that includes lecture, field, and office work.
The course work covers: How GPS Works, System Components, Configuring the System
Properly, Equipment Assembly and Set-up, Intro to Trimble Geomatics Office, GPS
Site Calibrations in TGO and TSC1 or TSCe, Topographic Survey Procedures, Field
to Finish, and Data Analysis in TGO.
Trimble Post Processed Static/Fast Static Certified
Class:
2 day class - $750/person
This formal class covers Static and Fast Static GPS Surveying Techniques
through lecture and office work. The class includes only a couple of field
exercises covering site recognizance and mission planning, the main part of the
class will cover Network Design, Overview of Trimble Geomatics Office, Steps of
Processing and Adjustment of data in Trimble Geomatics Office.
Seiler Mapping Training
1 day class - $350/person
This is a general class that covers the basics of GPS Mapping through
lecture and field work. The class will cover current equipment configuration
(TSC1, TSCe, Geo Ce), current field software (AS 5.x, TerraSync), and current
office software. Topics covered will include Data Dictionary Creation, Office
Planning, equipment configuration, data collection and data export.

classes. Minimum class size (Seiler) is 5 persons. Seiler Instrument reserves the right to cancel or
reschedule classes due to low enrollment.
